IT'S GOING TO BE OKAY

I can feel the tension and anxiety building up in you. Your energy is all wrong. The first thing you need to do is chill. Life is stressful, get over it. If you sit and count all your problems you'll go into depression. You'll lock yourself in your closet and rock back and forth in a corner until doomsday (which, judging by the weather could be very soon). I challenge you to count your blessings and find the beauty in all the hideous things that are weighing you down. Don't take things so seriously, loosen up, laugh, act silly and dance like no one is watching.. while listening to A Tribe Called Red's 'Red Skinned Girl'
Go on, dance

Finding Le Happy

Where do you want to be? What's it gonna take for you to get there? Envision it. Map it out. Make a plan. Then follow that plan until you get there. The end destination is your Happy. We're all (well most) working hard to make someone else's dreams come true and at this point it is a necessary evil. Yet knowing where you're headed and knowing the path to take to get there, makes things easier and creates a viable exit strategy. This is cliche as all hell but YOU control your destiny, those same people whose dreams you're bringing to life were once where you are (unless they were born with Christofle's Malmaison Classique spoon in their mouth). Patience is key, consistency is KEY. Do whatever you have to to find your happy and stay happy.

btw to serve a table of eight with these badboys it'll cost you 148k...*walks off*

RACKS

So I recently got an Instagram account and I came across a picture of strippers counting their tip money. The entire mattress they were sitting on was covered in dollar bills... CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A MOMENT OF SILENCE.... mind you, the mattress was on the floor and there were no bed sheets, but that's besides the point. There was enough money in that picture to pay off my school loans. I'm not gonna lie, I was envious. I bust my ass six days a week and I don't make that kind of money. But homegirl gets up on a pole and does some shit she learned from a twerk team youtube video and is laughing all the way to the bank PFFFT! So I took a moment and really thought about why I was mad. She's on her grind, she applying herself(in her own way), she's doing her thing and I can't be mad at that. What I'm trying to say is don't scrutinize what others are doing to make yourself feel better. It doesn't matter if you're sliding down a pole or studying for your LSAT (the world could use more scholars than strippers though) if you set your goals and you're working towards them be content with you progression and don't let pictures on Instagram ruin your flow. I KNOW it sucks when you're budgeting to make your car payments and pictures of Christian Louboutins keep making their way across your feed *side eye* but like Cinderella you'll get you designer glass slipper eventually.
Keep your head up and clothes on, -Mego (those beauties are MMM by the way)
